Beginner Barber Course
Learn where the trade happens
The Asgard Barber School barber course takes place in the Rio Tinto shop, in Greater Porto, for those starting from zero. It lasts 6 weeks, in classes of just 5 students, with a trainer certified with CCP.
It is no ordinary classroom: training takes place at Asgard Rio Tinto, a working barber shop, with the real atmosphere, tools and pace of every day.

Small classes
Just 5 students per class, to guarantee individual support from the first cut to the last.

Weeks of training
4 weeks of training, Tuesday to Friday, with the possibility of an internship afterwards. 6 weeks in total.

Certified trainer
You learn with a trainer certified with CCP (the Portuguese Certificate of Pedagogical Skills).

4 weeks of training, Tuesday to Friday, with intermediate assessments (checkpoints) so you can see your progress.

Final practical assessment
You show what you have learned on a real cut, assessed by the trainer.

The possibility of an internship, to build up pace before going your own way. 6 weeks in total.

No. The Beginner Barber Course is designed for those starting from zero.
Where and when are the classes?
At Asgard Rio Tinto, Tuesday to Friday, during the 4 weeks of training.
How much is it and can I pay in instalments?
Enrolment is 300 € and the course 1,500 €. The course fee can be paid in instalments.

Who is the workshop for?
For those who are already barbers and want to perfect a technique, gain speed or more confidence in a type of cut.
How does it work?
It is a 1-to-1 working day with an Asgard barber, inside an Asgard barber shop. Beforehand, we talk to you to understand what you want to improve.
What can I work on?
Whatever you need: fades, razor finishes, beard, scissors or another technique. The day is built around you.
How much is it?
